Inter house Newsletter Competition was held today for class V. Students of each house design a newsletter comprising of activities held in the school like Independence Day, PTM etc. They showcase their talent using Calligraphy tools, inset images, background, Oracle Virtual Box etc.

August 28th marked the first edition of 'KALAMANJARI' - the art, music and dance gala, aimed at encouraging 100% participation of the students. It incorporated a set of cultural programmes, inter house song competition, and art & craft exhibition. This was followed by a presentation on Mody School and Parent-Teacher Meet. With the concerned efforts of the staff and students, the event was a splendid way to interact with parents at all levels. Pearl Academy, the well-known Fashion and Design Institute, conducted a day-long workshop for students of Fashion Studies on Design Thinking. Several interesting activities were also organized for Class XII design aspirants. Ms. Aanchal Badola, Area Manager with Edu. Com solutions Ltd for Jaipur, Sikar & Pilani region along with the Training Lead of Rajasthan Mr. Narendra Mishra conducted a two-hour workshop on Edu. Com software such as CROCODILE LABS.
46 students of Sociology and Home Science were escorted to Khadi Udyam in nearby Ratangarh by Ms. Preeti Sharma and Ms. Kiran Samour. They learnt about fibre-cultivation, spinning and twisting of fibres for turning them into yarns. The art of weaving, knitting, dying and bleaching was also shown and explained. 15th August is always a time to savour the atmosphere of freedom in a very definite way. Songs of patriotism and freedom rent the air and students and staff greeted each other effusively. Students performed folk dances of various states. The Chief Guest, Mr. Rakesh Munjal, Sr. Advocate (Supreme Court) hosted the flat to the strains of the National Anthem and later, took the salute of resplendent School parade. Gargi House was the winner of the Inter-house March-Past competition. The activity was conducted today for Class VIII. It was a collaborative activity of English and IT. Students created webpages on E-pal and created blogs based on social media.
Four house participated and Sarojini House stood first and Kasturba second. 'Jungle Revelry' was the theme of the boarders' party and the Hostels put up a show which definitely had a touch of the feral about it. Ferocious dancing lent a certain wildness to the evening, which, however, toned down considerably as the hours moved on and the 'animals' became hungry! The party was wonderfully put together by Hostel 2s2, and though the skies were overcast and it had rained heavily earlier, the event itself went off without a hitch! Ms. Bindu Rathore (Corporate Social Responsibility) and her team from Fortis Escorts Hospital, Jaipur gave presentation on following topics : Classes III - V - Personal Hygiene Classes VI - VII - Puberty & Special precautions Classes VIII - IX - Training on basic life support Medical personnel demonstrated the correct and effective way to render first aid in an emergency to victims and patients. The children were then asked to show off their skills on dummies that had been brought along for the purpose. Shreya Sharma (Class IX) and Diksha Bareth (Class XI) argued for and against, respectively on the topic, 'Punishment for Wrongdoing is divinely Ordained' at the Inter-School English Debate at Dundlod Vidhyapeeth, Dundlod. Out of 32 schools and 64 participants, Diksha won the motivational award along with a cash prize of Rs. 2500.
