Mody School has been ranked the top 8th Girls' Boarding School in the country and the 2nd in Rajasthan by Education World in its annual ranking of the best schools of the nation! This was a moment of pride and elation, for the position brings with it recognition on large scale besides acknowledging the vision and ideals of its founder in a very tangible way.
39 students took the Belt Test, out of which 19 took the Yellow belt Test, 10-the Purple Belt Exam, 5- Green, 2- Brown and 3 the Black Belt Test. The results would be declared in November 2015.
It is believed that during the auspicious occasion of Ganesha Chaturthi, the Elephant God himself visits his devotees on earth. Ganesha is widely revered as the remover of obstacles, the patron of arts ans sciences and the deva of intellect and wisdom. The day was exuberantly celebrated with students singing odes to Lord Gajanan. A bhajan and a wonderful dance was also performed, where children invoked the beneficent Lord to bless us all. The Principal, staff and students participated in the 'havan', wherein, a Ganesha idol was ceremoniously installed for the 7 day period. Dr. A.P. Jayaraman, Secretary- Indian Development Foundation (IDF) conducted a useful workshop for teachers on the topic ‘Thinking Skills’.
An Inter house maths- science activity was held on 09th july’ 15 on the topic 'Motion and Measuring Distances' for class VI. Students were divided into 8 groups as each house got two topics from science and maths each. Compliments to class VI students, who participated with full zest and enthusiasm and made it a successful event. Even the judges were highly impressed seeing the young chargers presenting difficult topics of mathematics and science with great ease. Through this activity students not only strengthen their concepts but boosted in their attitude and confidence. Leelawati House got first position, second by Gargi house and third by Kasturba house. The birth of Lord Krishna was celebrated with much religious fervor by staff and students alike. The Central Hall was adorned with several symbols of Krishna's colourful growing-up years in the village of Gokul. Students presented 'Krishna' bhajans and a colourful dance performance in which the entire school community participated with enthusiasm. The show culminated in a burst of energy as the girls enacted the naughty 'gwal baal' forming a pyramid and breaking the earthern pot full of curd and butter. Teaching is the greatest act of optimism', says Colleen Wilcox and 5th September gave both the teachers and students the perfect opportunity to discover the bonds that so strongly unite them. There wa an air of gratitude in the way the girls approached their 'gurus' and seemed sincere and respectful as they put up a glittering cultural evening to celebrate the occasion. During the morning assembly, rich tributes were paid to eminent philospher, teacher and statesman, Dr. S. Radhakrishnan. At Adarsh Vidya Mandir, Lakshmangarh, the shuttlers left a mark with the under 17 team securing the First position and the under 19 team coming second. Three students were selected for states.
